What Is systeme.io?
systeme.io is an all-in-one online business platform. According to its official website, it covers sales funnels, email marketing, online courses, selling online, and blogging, along with a website builder, marketing automation, affiliate management, a community builder, and a booking calendar.
The company says it powers more than 500,000 entrepreneurs. The main appeal for beginners is that these tools live in one dashboard instead of being spread across several subscriptions.
systeme.io Free Plan and Pricing
Here is what the official pricing page listed when we checked it on October 30, 2026:
- Free: 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, and 1 course. The free plan never expires and does not require a credit card.
- Startup ($17/month): 5,000 contacts, 10 sales funnels, and 5 courses.
- Webinar ($47/month): a higher tier between Startup and Unlimited.
- Unlimited ($97/month): unlimited contacts, funnels, courses, and automation rules.
All plans include unlimited email sends, unlimited sub-accounts, and 0% transaction fees. The free plan has lower limits on some features, such as 1 automation rule, 1 email campaign, and 500 students.
If you cancel a paid plan, systeme.io says you keep it until your next billing date, and then your account returns to the free plan.

Our Test: Building an Email Opt-In Page on the Free Plan
We tested systeme.io on October 29, 2026. The goal was simple: create a page that collects email addresses, using only the free plan.
Step 1: Create a “Build an audience” funnel
In the dashboard, go to Sites → Sales funnels → Create. systeme.io offers four funnel types: Build an audience, Sell, Custom, and Run an evergreen webinar. For collecting emails, choose Build an audience. You also get a free subdomain in the format yourname.systeme.io.
As soon as the funnel was created, systeme.io set up two steps automatically: an Opt-in page and a Thank You / Download page, with a library of templates ready to use.

Step 2: Pick a template and publish
We clicked Use template on the first design. A few seconds later, the page had its own public address and was live, with a working email field.
From creating the funnel to having a live page took about two to three minutes, not counting the time needed to write your own page copy.

Step 3: Replace the placeholder content
The template text is placeholder copy (Lorem ipsum) in English. Before sharing the page, you need to rewrite the headline, description, and button text for your own offer. On the free plan, the page also shows a “Powered by systeme.io” badge.
Where Beginners Get Stuck: The Sender Email
The next logical step is sending a welcome email to new subscribers. In Automation Rules, you can add a rule with a trigger such as Funnel step form subscribed and an action such as Send email, Subscribe to campaign, or Add a tag.
When we tried to create the email, the sender address list was empty. You have to add and verify a sender email address before systeme.io can send automated emails. This needs access to the inbox you want to send from, so plan for this step before you promote your page.
Watch the Video Walkthrough
We also recorded a short video of this test for our YouTube channel. The narration is in Vietnamese, but the screens follow the same steps described above.
Who Should Start With the systeme.io Free Plan?
The systeme.io free plan is a practical starting point if you:
- Want to collect your first email subscribers without a monthly bill.
- Need a simple landing page on a free subdomain.
- Prefer to test the platform before committing to a paid plan.
You will likely outgrow it if you need more than one automation rule, more than three funnels, or pages without the systeme.io badge.
Final Verdict
In our test, the systeme.io free plan made it fast to get a working opt-in page online: choose a funnel type, pick a template, and the page is live. The real work is writing your own page content and verifying a sender email before you can send automated emails.
